Why 240 GSM changes how a tee falls, moves and ages — and how to read a fabric label.
Grams per square metre is the quiet number behind every tee you've loved. Below 180 GSM a tee drapes and clings; above 220 it starts to hold a silhouette of its own.
Our Archive tee sits at 240 GSM — heavy enough to fall straight from the shoulder, light enough for a Mumbai afternoon. Combed cotton removes the short fibres that pill, which is why the surface stays clean after months of washing.
Read labels for fibre, weight and finish. 'Enzyme washed' means softness on day one; 'garment dyed' means the colour will age into something personal.
